Aim: To list ALL the roots used in Al Quran (The Reading), including possible meanings (from SEVERAL classical Arabic dictionaries/lexicons), give ALL examples of usage in Al Quran (allowing cross-reference) and extensive comments on grammar for EVERY word. Its goal is to be the most comprehensive Quran study tool in the English language.
All information will be:
1) online to view for FREE
2) once complete a single file will be available FREE to download
3) on CD/DVD at cost-price [about $5 (US dollars) - including delivery] which can be sent worldwide.
If anyone cannot download/afford it, we will send the CD/DVD free to anyone worldwide. We firmly believe wealth should not be a barrier to gaining knowledge.
Why? When one reads a translation of Al Quran (The Reading), they are actually reading the translator's interpretation of the original Arabic. Thus, mistakes are to be expected. A translation will have the translator's own thoughts/experiences/education/bias/imperfections. By listing the possible meanings of the roots with all of its derivatives, occurrences & grammatical information, we allow you to study the meanings and usage for yourself. We hope this project will aid the study of students of the scripture.
How to get involved:
If you have access to any classical Arabic dictionary, we can give you some roots to look up, and we can add them to the list.
If you have access to grammatical information about words found in The Quran, we can use that.
If you have no resources, that is no problem, we can provide them (depending on circumstances).
All you need is time to contribute.
No experience is necessary to help, just time. To find out more, see the following page:

The ultimate goal of this project is to create the greatest Quran study tool in the English language and make it free online and distribute it worldwide to as many people as possible. We hope you will join us in this noble cause.
