It is not the sunna to be fully undressed while taking our bath. So never undress fully in your life even for your spouse. The prophet and his wives never saw each other's bare body.

Perhaps the reason that the Prophet and his wives bathed with clothes on was because there were too many people watching them so that they could "faithfully" record these sunnahs in the various books of Hadith. Hey, I'd keep my clothes on if I had an audience! LOL
