Do you know why only Iran among all Muslim countries would create this kind of wonderful artwork that includes human and animal life?

Dear brother,

Thanks for your comments. I don't think Iranis know the authentic Islam better than other Muslims. All are traveling in the same boat of ignorance.

However, to my knowledge, no authentic Shi'ah Hadith denounces fine arts. This is also evident from the ancient paintings created in Iran.

Finally, the Persian Mani, the founder of Mani Religion, probably a contemporary of Jesus Christ, was himself an outstanding painter. That culture is still popular in Iran.

Salaam,

Why did the Persians allowed art while Sunni Islam didn't? Because Sunni Islam is mostly influenced by the Jewish law theology. While Persian Shi'ism just remained Zoroasterian in Theology.

Sunni Muslims had mostly Christians living in their territories, and thus took in many Jewish laws to counter Christian theology, as art and paintings were part of Christian idolatry. In a sense, the law against painting images was probably created for the small Muslim minorities moving into the new territories and the new converts. A distance had to be created between their Christian idolatry and their new faith, and so many Jewish anti-images laws were taken over.

Shi'is on the other hand didn't want people to denounce their heritage. Everything that was Persian and could be moulded into Islam was taken in. They were to proud of their Persian heritage, hateful against Arab culture and in a sense believed Islam was something that should be given to them instead of the Arabs. Persian was far more worthy to carry the banner of Islam. Thus they made Islam Persian, instead of Persia taken over Islam.
