We congratulate you, the decendents of those heroes who fought so hard and sacrificed so much to give us this wonderful gift - a free land to call it our home. The passing of Lahore Resolution, commonly known as Pakistan Resolution on this day in 1940 was a monumental achievement for the Muslims of South Asia. It was a day when belief rose from the ashes of uncertainty. It was a day when the first brick in the foundation of the future leader of the Muslim Ummah was laid. It was a day when, after the demise of the Mughal era, the first blow to the Hindutva ideology was struck.
