Mr. Robert Spencer, Director, JihadWatch.org: It’s unfortunate that there is no negotiating with the Jihadists. There is no striking a deal with them. Islamic law is very clear on that, and here, once again, is an example. We need to take Islam seriously. Islamic law does not allow for treaties. It does not allow for negotiated settlements between Muslim states and non-Muslim states. All it allows for is a temporary period, of up to ten years, of Hudna, or what is commonly translated as ‘truce’, to allow the Islamic forces to gather their strength. Well, that’s not the same as peace as we know it; that’s not the same as the absence of a state of war. That’s only a temporary lull in a war that the Jihadists consider has gone on for fourteen centuries and are willing to fight for fourteen more.

Answer: Dear Sir, should we repeat what we have already discussed? Peace treaties are extensively discussed in the Qur’an. Verse 9:8 has just been presented. Verses 9:1-10 and many others shed more light on the subject. Please show me the conjecture of “Hudna of up to ten years” in the Qur’an or even in Hadith. Muqtada Sadr of Iraq is a criminal, and no authority on Islam. The criminal Jihadists are already weak and on the run. Now they are reduced to secretly bombing fellow Muslims in Muslim countries! If they come out in the open, they will surely be annihilated. Mr. Triskovic rightly said that Terror is not a very big problem.

But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.”

Answer: All words and lines that I have colored in red above and below, are not there in the original Arabic text; someone’s intellectual dishonesty it is!

There are more words within brackets than open! Did you notice the venom of interpolation? Here is the correct rendition and explanation:

47:4 If you meet the disbelievers in battle, strike at their command centers, until you have subdued them, then, bind them firmly. And thereafter, there must be an act of kindness or ransom when the battle lays down its weapons. If God willed, He could punish them Himself, but that He may let you be tested by means of one another (as to which people remains vigilant.) As for those who are slain in the way of God, He does not render their actions vain.

[As soon as the war is over, immediately free the captives as an act of kindness or ransom, such as exchange for your men in their captivity. There is no third option.

Fadharb ar-riqaab is usually rendered as ‘smite their necks.’ A little contemplation, however, makes it plain that in a battle of swords and arrows no commander would order his soldiers to aim for the necks alone. Therefore, the term has been used idiomatically, indicating knocking out the command centers. It is interesting to note that even in today’s encounters with high technology this principle is given a top priority.]

Mr. Serge Trifkovic, Author, Defeating Jihad: In Islamic thinking, the world is divided into the House of Islam - where Islamic politic has been established, where Allah rules Supreme - and the House of War, which is the rest of the world. Answer: Sir, there is no real “House of Islam” anywhere in the world today – “where Islamic politic has been established”. So, the “House of War” automatically becomes irrelevant. Communism is already dead and buried. You said, “…when either the whole of our planet becomes dark with Islam …” But if you knew the true picture of Islam, you would say, “enlightened with Islam” like the celebrated Orientalist, scholar, philosopher and historian, Tor Andre did.

Tor Andre - Muhammad, the Man and His Faith: Islam is a forceful spiritual energy. Its true meaning will manifest itself when it will be implemented on large scale.

Volume 4, Book 52, Hadith 196:

“Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’”

Answer: This is another repetition. Please see Freedom in the previous Rebuttal – 24. [Verses 2] As we have discussed before, any Hadith violating the Qur’an is nothing but plain forgery. Saying it again, the exalted Prophet would have lost all credibility even before his noble companions if he once violated the Revelation unto him. Here is the Ultimate Truth.

3:20 If they argue with you (O Messenger), tell them, “I have submitted to God; I and those who follow me.” Say to the People of the Scripture, and to those who have no Scripture, “Would you submit (to God)?” If they submit, then they have been guided but if they turn away, then your duty is only to convey the message. God is Seer of His servants.

Mr. Robert Spencer, Director, JihadWatch.org: If we consider that if only we changed our policies toward Israel, and only we changed our policies toward Iraq, or changed our policies towards something else, if only we hadn’t taken out the Musaddaq regime in Iran in 1953, and other things people have said to me – these ideas are ridiculous. They’re based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the motives and goals of the Jihadists. This is not a conflict that was created with the creation of the state of Israel or a conflict that was created when American armies went into Iraq. The global Jihad has gone on without interruption, without significant interruption, since the 7th century. And it only declined in force and activity at periods when the Islamic world was too weak to prosecute it.

Answer: Dear Sir, this is another repetition. We have said that when we go into history, there are always two sides to the story. The exalted Prophet Muhammad and his noble companions had created a model State for all humanity to behold. The visitors keenly observed the human equity and equality and respect for all human rights.

In the early Islam, delegates from the two super powers of the time, the Persian and the Roman (& Byzantine) Empires used to regularly visit the Islamic capital Madinah presenting their grievances how their ruling elite persecuted their own subjects. The exalted Prophet, and then his successors wrote to the tyrants that if they did not honor human rights, a popular uprising would take place and their own condition would become dismal like the subjugated masses… The visitors used to embrace Islam for its sheer nobility.
