Mr. Robert Spencer, Islam Unveiled: Islam is a religion and a political system that dictates that one must carry out warfare against the unbelievers until they either convert or submit, and this is the justification that the terrorists around the world are using for what they’re doing. And that justification is based on core elements of Islamic tradition. That being the case, it’s very difficult for moderate Muslims, peaceful Muslims, to stand up within the Islamic community and to say ‘this is not part of Islam’. They only do so out of conscious deception, intending to mislead Westerners, in accord of the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya – or religious deception – or they do so simply on the basis of being simply unaware of what Islam actually teaches.

Answer: Dear Sir, you said: Islam is a religion and a political system that dictates that one must carry out warfare against the unbelievers until they either convert or submit ….” But you did not mention the source of this assertion whereas evidence to the contrary is repeatedly documented in the Qur’an. Please refer to a few verses that follow soon.

About calling a Spade a Spade: Right here, I am standing before the entire Muslim Community in the world, denouncing Terrorism and coercion all through. And I am finding nothing but absolute agreement of Muslims from around the world.

We have seen amply in Rebuttal 15-16, and before, that Islam allows warfare only in self-defense and against persecution, not for conversion or any other reason. We have shed enough light on freedom of religion as ordained in the Qur’an. [2]
As for Taqiyya, you will not find the word in the Qur’an. The word did not even exist in the life of the exalted Prophet. How can it be an Islamic doctrine, then? There is a small group of Qur’an deniers among a sect that call concealing the details of their faith as Taqiyyah. That’s the A to Z of it.

Sahih Al Bukari, Vol. 4, Book 52, Hadith 269

“The Prophet said ‘War is deceit.’”
Answer: Let’s believe for a moment that this report, generated on hearsay 250 years after the exalted Prophet, is authentic. The Arabic text says: Al-Harb-il-khad’ah. The more accurate translation would be, “Surprise element is an important factor in any war.” Khalid bin Waleed, who later became a gallant Muslim commander, was on the enemy side in the Battle of Uhud. He found an unexpected soft spot and inflicted significant damage to the unaware Muslims who had ignored an important part of the exalted Prophet’s strategy. Then the Prophet said the above, “Surprise element is an important factor in any war.” Which army general would disagree with that principle even today?

Mr. Abdullah Al-Araby, Director, The Pen vs. the Sword Publications:

“Lying, generally speaking, is not allowed in Islam. But unlike other religions, there are certain situations where a Muslim can lie and that would be acceptable, even encouraged. This concept, called Al-Taqiyya, Al-Taqiyya means ‘prevention’, so a Muslim is allowed to lie to prevent harm that may come to him or to Islam.”

Answer: Sir, we have just analyzed Taqiyyah. You will not find the word in the Qur’an. The word did not even exist in the life of the exalted Prophet.
Other religions? Please recall, and sufficient should it be, the infamous quote of St. Paul here when even life is not endangered.

St. Paul, the principal founder of Christianity, confesses his guilt in his letter to Romans 3:7 - If through my falsehood (telling lies), God’s truthfulness abounds to His glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner? (Prof. Thomas Broadway - The Ancient Scriptures)

Mr. Robert Spencer, Islam Unveiled: “When one is under pressure, one may lie in order to protect the religion. This is taught in the Qu’ran, Chapter 3 verse 28, Chapter 16 verse 106.”

Answer: OK, Sir! Here are the verses you mentioned. Please tell us what is wrong with saving one’s life, instead of laying it down in vain emotions and adamant behavior.

3:28 (Those who reject the laws of such an Omnipotent Creator, will not support the Divine Ideology.) Let not the believers take non-believers for their allies instead of their fellow believers. If anyone does that, he will have nothing to do with God. The persecuted are exempted from this obligation in order to save themselves….
The following verse sheds more light on the situation.

16:106 Anyone who utters unbelief, after attaining faith in God, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in faith, is different from the one who is fully content with disbelief….

The Life of Muhammad (p. 367) [by whom?] If it is by “Ibn Ishaq” or Ibn Hisham, we have already analyzed the Jewish and Magian forgery of the document.

[Ibn Ishaq d. 773 CE was half Jew and half Zoroastrian and his supposed biography of the Prophet, even if ever written, was immediately lost. Imam Malik has called ibn Ishaq a big liar. Then more than half a century later Ibn Hisham d. 840 wrote ibn Ishaq on hearsay from Ziyad al-Bakai (Magian), Musailma Abrash (Jewish) and Hamid Razi (Magian). (“Seerah” Ibn Ishaq has been forged from ibn Hisham as late as 2000 CE under fictitious names.)] (Mazhabi Dastanain aur Unki Haqeeqat by Allama Habib Kandhalwi).

“The Apostle said – ‘Who will rid me of Ibn-Ashraf?’
Muhammad bin Muslama, brother of the Bani Abdul-Ashal, said ‘I will deal with him for you, O Apostle of God, I will kill him.’
He said, ‘Do so if you can.'

He said, ‘O Apostle of God, we shall have to tell lies.’
He answered, ‘Say what you like, for you are free in the matter.’”

Answer: Again, this is a frank forgery and defamation by “Ibn Ishaq” centuries after the exalted Prophet. Ka’b bin Ashraf, a top Jewish leader of the Bani Nadhir Tribe, had moved from Madinah up-North along with his tribe in all safety. What weight does the rumor carry before the Unassailable First & Foremost Authentic and Authoritative Qur’an, as follows?

Please recall that the peaceful exile took place in 5 Hijrah (627 CE) of the Jewish tribe of Banu Nadhir near Madinah.

They were banished from there after they had repeatedly violated the peace treaties they had signed with the exalted Prophet. They kept joining hands with the Makkan idolaters, the hypocrites and some clans committed to annihilate the believers. For their treachery, Banu Nadhir lost their citizenship and got exiled according to the treaty. They were allowed to take with them all movable property except the weapons of war. With 600 camels laden with their belongings, the tribe was allowed to migrate peacefully to any place of their choosing and thereupon they relocated themselves in Syria.

See what the Qur’an says:

59:2 He is the One Who evicted the disbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). You never thought that they would leave and they thought that their strongholds would defend them against God. But God’s requital came to them from directions they little expected, and caused fear in their hearts. So, they dismantled their dwellings with their own hands and (got them dismantled) at the hands of the believers. Learn a lesson, then, O You who are endowed with insight!

59:3 And if God had not decreed banishment for them, He would have punished them harder in this world, yet for them is suffering of the fire in the life to come.
A life-long student with due respects.
