Reality of SABE BARAAT?
The A to Z of Shab-e-barrat IN THE MAN-MADE NUMBER TWO ISLAM are manifested in the following:
1. Your Amaal Namma (performance report) of deeds of past year is closed on 15th Shaban. New ledger opens on the 16th.
2. Your fate, whether you live or die in the next lunar year is decided this day.
3. So spend whole night in mosques and offer special prayers.
4. Organize, attend Milad Mehfils with full spirit and full plate sweet.
5. Visit grave yards and contemplate yourself as buried there. Mosques are now organizing this bus trip.
6. Visit all dargah and mazzars in your town.
7. Light candles, spread flowers and petals on graves.
8. Organize and involve in dars, waz and naat mehfils.
9. Offer Salaate tasbih
10. Illuminate houses and streets with colorful electric bulbs.
11. Play fire crackers.
Last but the most,
13. Make, buy, eat and distribute halwa (sweets) of all kinds in abundance. This is so important, because to be a Moulvi is the ultimate purpose of halwa.
Unthoughtful Muslims who are enthusiastic about Laylet al Bara'at are those who indulge in fictitions than with the Quranic schemes of their own future.
THE QURAN DOES NOT EVEN MENTION SHABE BARAT.
