I loved one of the Senators saying we need to tighten our immigration policy or more Muslims will be elected to Congress. What about those of us who were born here? Where would he "deport" me to?! I've only ever had U.S. citizenship. I was really shocked at the level of vitriol, and I really don't shock easily.

Can anyone actually imagine the Exalted Messenger (S) saying "When a girl reaches 10 she must wear the hijab. And if she won't wear the hijab, then we'll hit her." (!!!) And these guys chanted "women are deficient" so many times I lost track. "Even if a woman has a Ph.D. she is deficient."

Here is a fabricated saying ascribed to the exalted Prophet: Passing by a group of women the Rasool (S) said, "Give charity O Women! Most of you women will be in the Hellfire because you are Naaqisaati 'Aqlinw-Wad-Deen (Deficient in Intellect and Religion)." A woman protested why they would be in the Hellfire, and how they are deficient in intellect and Deen. Then he went ahead to explain that women cannot pray or fast during menstruation and the witness of a woman equals one half of a man's witness. Ref: [Hadith Bukhari (volume 1) Kitabul Haidh (The Book of Menstruation) chapter 208, Tarke Hayedis Saum (Leaving of Saum by a menstruating woman) Hadith # 295]
Without any doubt, you will find Mullahs and Mullanis trying to defend and
rationalize even this great insult.
AND THE N2Is CONSISTENTLY DEFEND THIS NONSENSE.

And of course they justify marriage for a girl before puberty by using the
slanderous ahadith.
THEY FORSAKE THE QUR'AN ALL THE TIME.

THE MARRIAGEABLE AGE
The beginning of the physiological cycles in a girl and nocturnal emissions in a boy are commonly believed to be their age of marriage. To the unfortunate Mullah, everything revolves around sex. A Hadith of Bukhari atrociously tells us that a girl can have Nikah (the marital contract) at 6 and the marriage can be consummated at age 9 since the exalted Prophet did that with Hazrat Ayesha! Is there any wonder that the West call him a child-molester? Why don't then the Sunnah-peddlers "marry off" their daughters at 6 and 9? However, especially the poor families of India do sell their pre-pubertal daughters to the oil rich Sheikhs.

Many countries set an arbitrary age of 16 years for the girl and 18
years for the boy. The Divine Wisdom enshrined in the Qur'an makes things so sensible. It sets up three rational criteria:

1 - Sufficient maturity to grant consent.
2 - Ability to sign a legal contract.
3 - Competence to take care of one's own finances.

4:6 Train and educate the orphans well and test them. When they reach the age of marriage and attain sound judgment, release their property to them. The marriageable age shall mean attainment of physical and mental maturity when one can legally make a solemn contract (4:21). -----.

4:19 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! It is not lawful for you to force women into marrying or holding on to them in marriage against their will. --.

4:21 And how could you take the marital gift back from her after you have lived intimately with each other and after she has taken from you a very Solemn Pledge of the marital contract?

And if they hate Christians and Jews so much then why don't they move to or back to Muslim countries? I don't think I could live in a country where I

Verily, the most honored among you, in the Sight of Allah, is the one who is best in conduct and lives most upright. Behold, Allah is Knower, Aware. [‘Min zakarinwwa untha’ = Of a kind that is male, and of a kind that is female = Male and female = Some of you are men and some of you are women. On this note I find myself in agreement with M. Pickthall 39]

60:7 It may well be that Allah will bring about affection between you and those whom you now consider enemies. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things - He is the Powerful Appointer of His Laws. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

60:8 Allah does not forbid you from being kind, and fully equitable to those
who do not fight you on account of AD-DEEN (the religion), and do not evict you from your homelands. Behold, Allah loves those who lead a just, balanced life.

60:9 Allah only forbids you from befriending only those who fight you on
account of AD-DEEN and evict you from your homelands, or help others in
evicting you. Whoever befriends them, it is they, they who will be
wrongdoers.

You don't like the new forum? Well, I think the other one was easier to view and read, but it kept having technical problems. And the sheer quantity of posts was probably overwhelming that system. I only wish we could just have dark type on a light background---I am "old fashioned" in that way!
