Numerology & Qur'an by Kamran Mirza

This info has been circulating for a while. The Quran being a Book of guidance, free of contradictions and with marvelous eloquence, knowledge and wisdom has more than sufficient internal evidence confirming its authority and authenticity.

I have not checked the numbers personally. The email is being posted only at the request of Kamran Mirza and friends.

Check this out,

Very interesting findings of
Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan
Might grasp your attention:
Dr. Tari q Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the
Holy Qur'an
That mention one thing is equal to another,
I.e. men are equal to women.
Although this makes sense grammatically,
The astonishing fact is that the number of
Times the word man appears in
The Holy Qur'an
Is 24 and number of times the word?
Woman appears is also 24,
Therefore not only is this phrase correct in
The grammatical sense but also true mathematically,
I.e. 24 = 24.
Upon further analysis of various verses,
He discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole
Holy Qur'an
Where it says one thing is like another. !
See below for astonishing result of
The words mentioned number of times in Arabic
Holy Qur'an
Dunia (one name for life) 115 .
Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115
Malaika (Angels) 88 . Shayteen (Satan) 88
Life 145 ...... Death 145
Benefit 50 ... Corrupt 50
People 50 ... Messengers 50
Eblees (king of devils) 11 . Seek refuge from Eblees 11
Museebah (calamity) 75 . Thanks! 75
Spending (Sadaqah) 73 . Satisfaction 73
People who are mislead 17 .D Dead people 17
Muslimeen 41 .J Jihad 41
Gold 8 .E Easy life 8
Magic 60 .F Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading)! 60
Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32 ...
Barakah (Increasing or blessings of wealth) 32
Mind 49 .N Noor 49
Tongue 25 .S Sermon 25
Desite 8 .F Fear 8
Speaking publicly 18 .P Publicising 18
Hardship 114 .... Patience 114
Muhammed 4 .S Sharee'ah (Muhammed's teachings) 4
Man 24 . Woman 24
And amazingly enough have a look how many times
the following words appear:
Salat 5 , Month 12, Day 365 ,
Sea 32 , Land 13
Sea + land = 32+ 13= 45
Sea = 32/45*100q.=71.11111111%
Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%
Sea + land 100.00 %
Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers
71.111% of the
Earth, while the land covers 28.889%.
Is this a coincidence? Question is that
Who taught Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) all this?
Reply automatically comes in mind that
ALMIGHTY ALLAH
Taught him.
This as the
Holy Qur'an

Salam!

I've received this e-mail more times than I care to count :)
While I have not checked these numbers myself, it's interesting to see how many praise these numbers and go ooh and aah but they seem to miss the most obvious fact that while the number of "day" mentioned in the Quran (according to the mail) is 365 the "Islamic" calendar only contains 354 days.. Humans and their quirks.

In the mails I got there was another entry where the number of the word "Days" is 30 or something like that.

I feel these sort of evidence (or whatever) is overrated considering the pairing of words seems to be based on superficial or shallow meanings of the particular word (e.g., Zakat, Barakah).

To echo Dr Shabbir's thoughts the Quran contains more obvious evidences.

Anyway just my thoughts :)

Salam all,

Yes it's been coming in mails for quite some time and never have I bothered to check too. It's not my priority when I read Quran and I think is not for most of the people who read Quran daily basically to "get the message". I agree with sikes Quran has much more to offer then these numbers.

Plus this sounds strange too, like what salat are they talking about? I have seen the word salat 8 times in surah "Baqara" ALONE. AND why would Allah not mention salat to be performed five times a day in just one direct order instead of putting it in a form that needs to be discovered?

I don't know why people are trying to make it into a puzzle book rather then a direct clear cut instructions from Allah SWT. This approach to Quran is directly against the claims of the Book which itself says "...a message that is easy to understand..." 54:17 and many other times.
Again my thoughts only.

jazakAllah.

Dear bros and sis,

everything in the quran is there for a sublime purpose, whether we understand the purpose or not is another issue. The numbers by themselves can seem insignificant, however from a linguistic point of view it is absolutely essential to maintain the criteria of non-contradiction within the quran especially in a day and age where people love to play around with words to attain their ends. Once again the frequency of words points to the eternal ever unfolding wisdom of Allah,THE MOST HIGH!Please read quran and self reference to get a better idea of what I am talking about. Its not just a numbers game on its own, its highly related to linguistics.Salam. May GOD increase us all in knowledge. The link to this astounding article is below:

Salam,

Everything in Quran is for some purpose no doubt... but that does not mean one should forget the obvious ones. The point here is simple in order to understand “Mutashbehats” we should not make the “Ehkamats” difficult as well or try to prove OUR theories about these Ehkamats from any scientific or outside knowledge which is always vulnerable to manipulation.
So reading Quran with self reference is must but we must also read and understand the "orders" they way they are in Quran, keeping in mind the verse 3:07

jazakAllah
