The Quran clearly states that Jesus was never crucified or killed.

4:157 (They claim), “We killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, God’s Messenger.” They never killed him and never crucified him. But it appeared so to them and the matter remained dubious to them. Those who hold conflicting views on this issue are but confused. They have no real knowledge and they are following mere conjecture. Most certainly, they never killed him.

4:158 Nay, God exalted him to Himself. (They had plotted thinking that crucifixion was a death of curse. But God raised him in honor.) God is Almighty, Wise.

Like the Gnostic gospels such as the Apocalypse of Peter, many of the ancient texts claim that Jesus was never crucified. In fact, he was among the onlookers at the time of the crucifixion of the malefactors, and then quietly moved away to safety. (Dr. James Bentley - The Secrets of Mount Sinai)

23:50 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a symbol (of Our grace). We gave them abode on a land abounding in hills, affording rest and security and fresh water springs (as they migrated from Jerusalem after the attempted crucifixion).

CAUTION: Some European scholars including Arthur Glyn Leonard, Charles Stuart Mills, Philip K. Hitti, Stanley Lane-Poole, J. M. Rodwell, and W. Montgomery Watt et al had already concluded from their research that Jesus, during the chaos around the wrong person’s crucifixion, escaped and migrated to Kashmir with mother Mary and his three disciples. But the Chief Criminal of Islam of the 19th century, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, plagiarized from this research and presented it in India as his own ‘revelation’.

As a matter of habit, hearing the name of Mirza Qadiani, Muslims dismiss the fact as a knee-jerk response. But the truth remains the truth regardless of who says it. And the Quran is testifying to the migration of Jesus in 23:50.
