Read again please, 2:62, 3:113 to 115 & 5:48 from Quran: This is the mind-set of Muslims

Any good person from any faith is bound for salvation, nirvana or Heaven. We, Muslims are not supposed to argue with Good Christians for matters of faith...but just share with you what the Quran says: You make up your mind.

1) Since the core message in all the scriptures is to worship One and Only One God, belief in the Day of Judgment and to live a Righteous way of life. God in His message gives hope to all people by saying, “Those who believe (in the Quran), those who follow the Jewish Scriptures, the Christians (who follow the teachings of the Gospels) and the Sabians (followers of John the Baptist or Zoroastrians), any (anyone living in any part of the world) who believe in God, the Last Day and work righteousness, shall have their reward from their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” 2:62, 5:69, 2:112 (repeated numerous times all over the Quran).

2) “Not all are alike from among the People of the Book (Jews, Christians and Muslims) thereare those who stand for the right, they rehearse the signs of God all night long and theySubmit/surrender in adoration. They believe in God and the Last Day. They enjoin what is rightand forbid what is wrong. They hasten with emulation in all good works. They are in the ranks ofthe righteous. Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected for God knows best those that do

right.” 3:113,114 & 115.

3) Quran RECOGNISES DIVERSITY & PLURALISM

To you WE have given the scriptures, just as WE have given the scriptures to people before you (Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc). We have protected your scriptures (Quran) in its entirety. So judge among people from what knowledge has come to you (from Quran) and do not be carried over by your vain desires (that Muslims are the only righteous and chosen people to lead). To each among you (referring to diverse groups – not excluding anybody) We have prescribed the Law (teachings of the indigenous, native people and Buddhist scholars, Gitas, Vedas, Torah, Gospels and The Quran) and an Open Way (given a conscience with reference to the spiritualists people). If God had willed, all humanity would have been of one single community (this means diversity is part of God’s creation). God’s plan is to test you in what each one has received (in the form of Holy Scriptures or Conscience). So strive, as in a race in all virtues. The goal of all the people is to God. God (alone) will tell you the truth in matters of which you dispute.” 5:48

(This means do not fight over religious matters, establish peace and conduct dialogues with wisdom and beautiful conduct to understand each other so all can live in peace)

Please beware of your major downfall! Trying to be all-inclusive or pluralistic can throw one into blatant SHIRK.

Look at verse 2:62 again.

2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who are Jews, and the Christians and the Sabians; whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does beneficial works, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they suffer from depression.

[Sabians = Nature worshipers. Note: The author of this rendition is not aware of any instance in the Qur’an where the use of Tasreef, that is, looking at the related verses, is more crucial than in the understanding of this verse.

Some great commentators have misunderstood this verse for missing related verses such as these:

2:135 They say, “Be Jews or Christians, then you will be rightly guided.” Say, “Nay, we follow the Creed of Abraham the upright. He associated none with God.”

2:136 Say, “We believe in God and what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them. And for Him, we are Muslims."

2:137 Thus, if they come to believe AS YOU BELIEVE, then they are rightly guided. But if they turn away, they will be falling into opposition and God will be Sufficient for you against them. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

5:69 Those who believe (in the Qur’an) and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians; whoever believes in God and the Last Day, and does works that benefit humanity, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. 7:157 The non-Israelite Prophet liberates the People of the Book from the shackles of their manmade dogmas and brings them from darkness to light.

98:1 It is inconceivable that the opponents of the truth, whether they are the People of the Book, or the idolaters, could get out of error until the clear proof, Al-Qur’an, comes to them. .............

O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! = O You who acknowledge the Qur’an! Reflecting on the above verses makes it clear that the belief in God and the Last Day must be in accordance with the Qur’an. Verses 2:62 and 5:69 emphasize that mere giving of a name to one’s religion or creed carries no importance]

Best regards.

It is a must to discuss with any person who we think is on the wrong path, Jews and Christians included. Discuss, not argue, not fight or think we know best unless we know best, and this comes from only the Qur'an and not the Bukharian fairy-tales.

5:44 We did send down the Torah containing guidance and a light. By it the Prophets who always sincerely submitted to God, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests judged according to God’s scripture as they were commanded to observe. To them was entrusted the protection of God’s Book, and they were witnesses to it. So, fear not people, but fear Me and do not trade away My revelations for petty gains. Whoever does not judge and does not rule according to what God has revealed,

such are the disbelievers.

5:45 For them (Jews), We had decreed in the Torah: Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and equal injury for injury (Exodus 21:23). But If one shall forgo retaliation by way of charity, it shall absolve his or her imperfections. Whoever does not judge or rule according to what God has Revealed, such are the wrongdoers.” [See 5:41. That was a time-bound Mosaic law specific to the Israelites. The Final revelation of God, the Qur’an has updated laws for all humanity for all Times. Incidentally, Exodus in the Bible, as seen today, does not leave room for forgiveness on the subject]

5:46 And after them We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming the (remaining truth in) what was revealed before him. We gave him the Gospel in which there was guidance and a light, and it confirmed the (truth in) what was revealed before it in the Torah, a guidance and admonition to those who wished to live upright. [2:101, 3:78]

5:47 Let the People of the Gospel judge by what God has revealed therein. Those who fail to judge and rule according to God's revelation, are drifters from the right path.

5:48 (O Messenger) We have sent to you this Divine Writ, setting forth the truth. It confirms the remaining truth in the earlier scriptures since it is a Watcher over them. So, judge between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their desires diverging from the truth that has come to you. For each community among you We have appointed certain rites and a traced-out way. If God had willed, He could have made you all one single community. But He decided to let you test yourselves by what (potentials) He has granted you. So, outdo one another in doing good to the society. To God you will all return, and He will then make you understand wherein you differed. [2:101, 2:148, 3:78, 21:92-93, 23:52. Muhaimin = Watcher. Shari’ah = Rites = Usual, diverse trends of a community. Minhaaj = A traced-out way = A set of laws]

5:49 So judge between them by what God has revealed. And do not follow their vain desires. Beware of them, lest they divert you from some of what God has revealed to you. If they turn away from the truth, be assured that God has decided to chastise them for some of their crimes. A great many people drift away from the right path.
