Majority of so-called muslims do not even read the Qur'an with meaning so thinking and reflecting is out of the question for them.
The idea of sending the Qur'an as Guidance, meaning to Guide us, does not manifest itself unless and until we do this reading with meaning, followed by the pondering and reflecting.
The Qur'an has no power over those who think they are right when they are Qur'anically illiterate.
Quite sad when you think about this!
