It is universally accepted that the biggest tragedy in 'islamic' history happened at Karbela.
Wrong.
It was when the muslims blatantly and unashamedly committed the only unforgivable sin by making the Bukharian hadith and Imam sunnahs equal to the Qur'an; they conveniently forgot the definition of SHIRK.

Bukhari did not write the hadith, shaitaan did.

I can not agree with you more. Islam would have been pure and simple w/o the teachings of 12 imams, their followers, and the 'Siyah Siita'. The madrasas' educated mullahs are the reason the Bukhari fever is still going strong. Over a period of time, the hadeeth will take the younger educated people completely away from religion. Eventually, logic and common sense have to prevail. Stories of recalling the sun from setting, splitting the moon, and traveling to the 7th heaven on a mule should be enough to get the young minds out of the delusion of number 2 Islam. Allah-ho-Akbar!

I have not seen anyone who has read Saha Sitta. Muslims only hear and believe in what the cleric tells them without even confirming whether its true or not. Most of the times these traditions are concocted by these Mullahs to impress the jahil crowd. This aptly supports their economic purpose.
