How about Prof Sharon’s distorted views on Islam based on his study of the Quran and Hadith? His study of Islam concludes that - Muslims cannot live in peace with the rest of the world till they conquer it! Any peace treaties with them would be fruitless as they are designed to gain time and the verse of the Quran which he translated as God sent His Prophet so that Islam “rules†over the rest of the non-Muslim world. Is that what the verse says (Islam will prevail over all other faiths by conquest rather than being accepted rationally) ?
He also believes that Jews and Christians believe that the goals of their faiths are a national and personal salvation taking place with peace on earth but the goal of Islam is to “rule†the entire earth and establish peace on its own terms with Non Muslims living as second class citizens paying jizya! And that till this goal is achieved each Muslim must engage in “Jehad†and aim to die as a martyr?? In other words Islam means perpetual war therefore every where Muslims go there is conflict !!
Although he says the Shias believe that a major armed conflict must take place for the return of Imam Mahdi, he ignores the Evangelists who believe an Armageddon must take place for Jesus to return and do away with the Jews who refuse to accept him!
Can you imagine such “Experts†briefing and advising Non Muslim rulers on Islam??
His assertions seem to a page out of the manual of Daesh, ISIS and Al-Qaida !!
